UPtoU app for iPhone and iPad

Weve built a competitive contest app where users share pictures within the community. Those pictures are anonymous in order to bring focus to the content. Users vote one by one on whether they like the content presented to them or not.

- How does it work?
Our proprietary algorithm defines the live sharing duration of the picture and users set the speed of sharing right after uploading a photo, initiating a game of confidence over the photo’s quality.
The uploaded pictures have a number of lives, which decreases on negative votes and grows viral on positive votes. Once the lives run out, a photo cannot gain new lives.

During the live sharing period, this picture could grow visibly viral appearing in the worldwide trending section of the app; after the live sharing period, the pictures have a worldwide leaderboard rank based on points.

The visual concept of UPtoU focuses on quick an easy photo voting. The intuitive gesture of sliding left or right will make the experience a lot smoother. For users unfamiliar with these gestures, there are approachable action buttons that will demonstrate the gesture, making the app a learning experience.

A pictures stats are visible to all users so you can compare your content’s performance to that of others.

Know what’s happening with your pictures at any time. Thanks to the notification centre, you will be able to track the progress of your images in the ranking and see which ones sadly passed away…

The style follows modern trends and focuses on a simple, black and white color scheme, with key accent colours such as red.
